PHPhotosErrorDomain error -1

I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 on a Mabook Pro. I have just upgraded.

I'm trying to share photos to an email After selecting the photos

and selecting the option to send the photos to a shared album, I receive

the "PHPhotosErrorDomain error -1" error. HELP! It won't even allow me to send to my desktop.

MacBook, macOS 10.14

Have a look at this thread, and the solution that worked for that user.

If you are able to boot into safemode the normal way. (httphttps://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mh21245/mac)

you shouldn't need the recovery mode and terminal that user used.


Note - it can take a long time to boot into safe mode.
