Availability of intercom is depending country

Intercom doesn’t appear in HomePod setting.

From Use HomePod as an intercom - Apple Support:

Now if you have two or more HomePod speakers, you can send Intercom messages between them.

There is as yet no indication that the feature is regionally dependent.
