Face ID not working

Since i upgraded to ios14, my face recognition has stopped working. i reset the face ID and now it will not let me set i up again.

We'd like to help with the Face ID issue you're experiencing on your iPhone. We understand you're currently unable to set up Face ID. Are you getting any specific error messages when attempting to set it up?


Make sure your device has the most updated version of iOS 14. Once confirmed, check the resource here for additional steps to take: If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro


If the issue persists, check the ring/silent switch on your device and place it in ring mode if it isn't already. Try setting up Face ID after that.


If the issue still persists, check to see if Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restriction is currently enabled. If it is, disable it for the time being and restart your device. Once restarted, try to set up Face ID again.
