Exposure Time for iPhone 12 Pro

I connect my iPhone 11 camera to my telescope to photography deep space objects. One of my gripes is that there is a maximum exposure time of 30 seconds on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Has this been improved with the iPhone 12? If so, what is it now? Getting a long exposure time is critical to details in astrophotography....
