Go to Bluetooth settings of your AirPods.
tap "i". then go to section with serial number. Tap "serial number". if it's clickable and shows you three different numbers, that's original.
Firmware version line is clickable as well. tap it. it must show version for airpods and for case.
check the version of your firmware with the latest at official site.

Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us.” I’m just wondering if they’re authentic.
