Apple Watch control center

Hello,

i have a question about how to display the control Center on my Apple Watch. I have an AW series 6, with display always ON.

when I try to open the control Center, I can do it when the screen is on a « sleep » mode, ie when o don’t twist my wrist to look at the face.

but once it is activate ( ie when I turn my wrist, I can see the second hand appearing on the face which turns brighter), the I cannot swip the screen up or down anymore. I still can swipe it on the right to change my face design. Even if I long press the lower part of the screen, it does not do anything.

can you help here?
