Left airpods not working.

Good evening,

My left airpod is not working, they're connected but no sound comes out.

I already tried all the options presented before and they still dont work.

3) Full reset: Reset your AirPods

4) Service: AirPods Service and Repair

I have encountered the same issue. After trying to reset, the case now just flashes white. Tried chat and they offered a mail in option. Clicked the details in the email sent and Apple wanted to charge me over $200. Yikes! Any pointers that I can follow so I do not have to lay out the full purchase price or find myself waiting in an Apple store?
