Left shift key shows desktop

Hello,

Whenever I hit the left shift key it always moves the open windows to show desktop. I went into my keyboard shortcuts and for show desktop it says the keyboard shortcut is F11 ( but thats the sound lower button and does not show the desktop). Any other reason why this would be happening and how to fix it?

Thanks!

It may have been set in:

Apple menu > System Preferences > Mission Control > Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts > Show Desktop:

If so, toggle to the key you wish to set to Show Desktop [as above].

Then close System Preferences.
