Unknown phone number associated with my Apple ID
Seeing a phone number associated with my Apple ID that I have never been associated with. How did it get there, should I be worried and how do I get rid of it?

If Eric's suggestion didn't work try signing in to Manage Your Apple ID on the web and see if you can edit it from there.
The first group of information that presents is Account (where is says Reachable at), and the second is Security (where is says Trusted Phone Numbers. Amend both as appropriate.
You might need to turn off Messages and FaceTime on your iPhone, then reactivate them when you've made the edits to your account.
