Apple TV+ will not play movies on PC laptop browsers Edge or Chrome or Firefox

Hi, new user trying out my 1yr subscription after iphone purchase. Love the phone. But I can't find a way to play Apple TV+ movies on my Windows 10 Pro laptop pc with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Firefox browsers. I can sign in to tv.apple.com, where it immediately begins auto previews for movies. I can toggle pause/play and mute/unmute on previews. But when I press Play, it shows Apple TV+ icon, then runs a preview, then stops at black screen before beginning movie. Fast Forward and Play/Pause buttons do nothing. Rewind takes me back into the preview. All 3 browsers do same thing. Tried using User-Agent Switch in Chrome extensions, to Safari 7, same result.

Any suggestions?

Also, should I be seeing additional icons on the Apple TV home screen for other options, e.g. for TV shows? The list is movies only at https://tv.apple.com/, with Apple TV icon in left top corner and my icon for Settings and Sign Out in the top right - nothing else. Thanks for your patience and thanks in advance for any replies.

Thank you Urquhart1244, on closer inspection you're of course correct, there are shows with episodes in there as well. Still getting used to the layout!

Any ideas on how to get my any of my browsers to actually play the movies and shows? After I push 'Play' or 'Play Episode' buttons, I get the Apple TV+ logo, then a preview, then it gets stuck with a black screen. Waiting doesn't help, and I just end up X-ing out in the top left corner to go to Home Screen again.

Neither my older Roku TV nor my Xbox One S have Apple TV app available in their stores, so without my laptop I'll be watching Apple TV on my phone, less than ideal. Thanks again for any input.

On browsers visiting tv.apple.com, all the shows are featured vertically, below each other.

Movies and TV shows are listed mixed, and in temporary order, to allow certain shows to be featured more prominently at other moments.

On the left hand side for each title, you should see buttons/links to start the actual content, or navigation to an information page dedicated to the movie or show. (Announced but not yet released shows may only have a trailer.)

► Play, Go to Movie

► Play Episode, Go to show

Play Trailer, Go to Movie

Play Trailer, Go to show
