Can I use my macbookpro while it is connected to the charger? Is it harmful to the battery?


MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

You can leave it plugged in whenever it is convenient to do so. Neither your computer nor battery will be damaged by

leaving it plugged in. And, leaving it plugged in reduces the rate of accumulation of battery cycles.

Using the Charger:

As long as it is not a faulty/failing charger, then everything should be fine. If you are uncertain, or are questioning its safety, you can always purchase a new charger - get it new and from Apple, for trustworthy usage. Go Here: Chargers - Power & Cables - Mac Accessories - Apple


Having Power Issues?:

If are having power issues, then reset the SMC. It might take upto three tries to reset it. So, be certain you have the time to perform this.
