How do I turn the Video in Pages feature off?

I'm trying to just add a Youtube video link into my Pages document and I am not sure how to stop it from putting the video player in there. I just want to include the link in this document, not the whole video.

Does anyone know?

In Pages > Preferences > General turn off (uncheck) 'Paste YouTube and Vimeo links as web videos.

Pages is suddenly embedding videos I have a running Pages document of youtube links, which I need to be in link format. I added links last week with no problem, but now when I try to add a youtube link, Pages auto-embeds the video and I can't retrieve the link from it. It comes with a clickable play button and all.
