Not connecting to wiif

My phone is connected to my wifi network but is showing that it's using 5G. The wifi is working. My laptop is working. My tv is connected still. It seems to be the phone. I've restarted it. I've reset the network and it still isn't working. I do have a software update pending but I can't do it because it's not connected to wifi.
