midi drums

Is is possible to change drum sticks in garage band? I want to use mallots instead of standard drum sticks.

iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS 10.15

Garageband drum kit tom and cymbal midi pan assignments are inccorect. Why are the tom and cymbal pan assignments reversed for garageband kits. they should pan from left to right like most drummers with ride cymbals on the right as well. Is there a way to reverse this??? It seems unlikely that apple engineers would miss this industry standard way of mixing. Am i missing something?

How to separate a MIDI Drum track? I have a simple rock drum beat that I played in on one MIDI Drum track and I was wondering if there was a way to separate each element (kick, snare, hat, etc.) of the kit so I could treat each part separately. Appreciate the help I've gotten so far from this forum! -Robert

Midi editing in Logic Pro All of my midi tracks default to my drum midi events in the edit window. So I can’t edit my piano midi info because when I double click on the piano region my drum region appears in the edit window. This is the same for all midi tracks. Even when I create a new software instrument, it still defaults back to the drum midi info in edit window.

Only if you can find a patch that has that sound.
