Activating my new phone.

I am trying to update my replacement phone without having my old phone. I have done the manual activation, and I have waited through the update. Now, my phone says "no service" and I am not able to use it as desired. Also, when I enter my number on the settings, it will not save. Any help is beyond appreciated.

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 11
