apple has suddenly declared hp printer scan softwar is a virus

right latest result .went into search and searched for everthing with hp connected and assumined it ws corrupt and binned it,

then down loaded from apple again .as before the printer works from this computer ,which im not sure it did before, and now using the new download have got rid of the virus alert messages, it just cant find the scanner

Will go back and try the scanner from parallels worktop for which HP supply a printer doctor and see if that helps .then its just a matter of slogging away until I chuck too much away and i have to use time machine to put it all back

Thats what I thought even though it says that Apple has found one .If so how do i get my scanner to work , if a apple approved app is giving me false reading using something that apple has itself installed on my computer in I assume the OSS and why now after 3 years

no now apple is blocking the downloading of new software

hi just tried that and apple has now declared various items fax print and send virus plus a few more will attempt to remove all old files the try setting up again

Please elucidate
