Security Question : iPhone data transferring method from one iPhone to another using QuickStart

Apple has introduced way to transfer data from one iPhone to another using Quick Start.

My question is if someone gives the iPhone to repair shop along with the passcode to test the mobile once repaired, how do we know that the data has not been transferred using Quick Start as you can skip the option to use Apple ID in order to transfer the data.

Is there any way that you can check the iPhone transfer or backup history if one or both were not carried out by you.

There is not a repair that requires that your data be accessed by the repair person. I recommend that you create a backup of your iPhone (either on iCloud or your computer) and then reset the iPhone to factory settings and then send in the iPhone for repairs. When the iPhone gets back then you can restore it form the backup that had created.
