Can FCP X and Compressor work on MacO Catalina?

Compressor v.4.4.2 not currently available at App Store Hi. I'm looking for the Compressor update from version 4.4. to 4.4.2. My FCP version 10.4.6 doesn't work with Compressor 4.4 I switched recently from Sierra to High Sierra and could update FCP. App Store proposed me not the last version 10.4.8 compatible with Catalina but an older one (10.4.6). Nothing similar was working with Compressor update. Even if the Compressor version 4.4.2 should be compatible with High Sierra, I wonder if my MBP (early 2011) allows this. Any idea how to get this Compressor version?

Compressor and High Sierra 10.13.6 Hi, I’m running MACOS High Sierra 10.13.6 and FCPX 10.4.6. I have understood that todays current version of Compressor (4.4.5) is not compatible with MACOS versions below 10.14.6. I figure that I would therefore need to install Compressor 4.3.2. To be completely sure, I would like to ask: 1. Is Compressor 4.3.2 in fact compatible with FCPX 10.4.6 and MACOS High Sierra 10.13.6 ? 2. If so then where can I buy/download this version Compressor ? I would very much appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on this for me…Thanks very much/cheers V

Convert incompatible media in Compressor

In macOS Mojave, you can use Compressor to transcode one or more media files into a supported format such as Apple ProRes, which preserves image quality and provides the best performance when editing in Final Cut Pro.

In macOS Catalina, you can't convert incompatible media with Compressor.
