Error "PDE.Plugin will damage your computer"

Suddenly when I try to print any document I get the following error messages - "PDE.Plugin will damage your computer" then "HPDM.framework will damage your computer" and finally "Pdftopdf.filter will damage your computer". It then pauses the printer and will not allow it to print. I have tried with different documents and had the same response. My husband used the printer with his laptop and had no problem.

Any suggestions?

Hi Squeeza27,

Let’s see if we can’t get you printing again when using your MacBook Pro.

Have you looked at the article Solve printing problems on Mac?

Are you able to print if you use AirPrint? See Print wirelessly from your Mac to an AirPrint printer

Updated drivers – Go to  HP Printers - Use HP Easy Admin for macOS to download print and scan solutions and make sure the drivers you have installed are updated. Also, look at HP Customer Support – Software and Driver Downloads.

We hope this helps you out.

Take care!
