iTunes for Windows 12.10.10.2 crashes after launch

I've been running iTunes on a Windows server for years. After installing the latest update, 12.10.10.2, it crashes within a few seconds of starting the app. I've reinstalled it a few times with no change in behavior. Way older versions work but I don't want to try and rebuild my library. I can't find a copy of a slightly older version 12.10.x anywhere.

The error message indicates a problem with the objc.dll in the iTunes directory. Anyone else have this issue and resolve it. Or does anyone know where I can select and download specific (more recent) versions of iTunes for Windows? The Apple site only offers 12.4.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. When reinstalling right click on the downloaded setup file and use run as administrator. It may also help to temporarily disable any non-Microsoft anti-virus.

Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, or want to revert to an older version if the current one won't work properly for you at the moment. Links to the most recent builds are now at the bottom of the page.

Your library and device backups should be unaffected by these steps but there are links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

I had tried removing everything and reinstalling 12.10.10.2, but even with the default library it would crash a few seconds after launching. The error message is shown below. I reverted back to version 12.10.9.3 and it works again. Thank you for the links to the previous versions. Strangely it uses the same version of the objc.dll in both versions of iTunes. I'm running it on Windows 2008 Server.

Thanks again.
