Safari crashing after iOS update. iPad, 14.1

Safari keeps crashing / reloading after iOS update on iPad. 14.1/6th gen. I see other people had this problem last year with 13 last year. Did anyone find a fix or cause? Web is most of what people do. Why push an update that kills your browser? Clearly Apples flawed code causing a lot of misery. 🤬
