Is there a way to hide the left side panel display in Calendar? It only appeared recently and it takes up so much room it is hard to read the calendar side.
Using iPad Pro 12.9" First Generation and 14.0.1 software version.
I tried an internet search but could not find an answer. I’d appreciate any help you can offer.

The Calendar sidebar that you describe is simply activated by tapping one of icons at top-left of the Calendar page; the selected sidebar icon will be highlighted.
To remove the sidebar view, tap the highlighted icon.

Is one of the icons highlighted? If so, this will reveal the sidebar - noting that this is “sticky” setting. Tapping again, removes the highlight from the icon - and hides the sidebar.
If you don’t see this behaviour, I suggest a forced-restart of your iPad:

There are three icons and a plus sign to add a new calendar. I have tapped each one and can find no way to hide the side panel. Is there another icon as you mentioned to remove the side bar view?
Thank you! You have solved the problem. Sticky keys had not occurred to me. There is so much to learn that I doubt I will ever reach a fraction of your standard of expertise. I truly appreciate your help.
