My Apple Watch is stuck in water mode. Rotating the dial does not unlock it. I washed it under warm water, with water only, and still nothing

My Apple watch is stuck in water mode. Rotating the dial does not unlock it. I ran warm water over it and tried cleaning, but nothing works.
