Notes disappeared iOS 14 update

Updated iPhone 8 to ios14 and AOL notes disappeared. Tried turning phone off then on. No change. Unable to find notes looking for them in recently deleted. I then updated to iOS 14.1. No change. Did off & on again. No change.

I went to the notes app on my MacBook & found the notes. I noticed they were in AOL folder (I never noticed that before 😱). I tried air dropping each individual note & they appeared in my iPhone notes app AOL folder. Then as I was looking at each note the titles began to disappear. When I tapped on the now blank line I was able to see the note. I then tapped the back arrow to the screen that lists all note files. When I then tapped AOL there was nothing on the next screen. Not even a blank line to tap on. As an FYI, the files available screen always read 0 as the note count for AOL notes arrived via airdrop. FYI my MacBook software has not been recently updated. Software updates I have NOT done are macOS Catalina 10.15 Security update 10.14.6 and

Mac OS Supplemental Update 10.14.6. That’s all the info I can pass on about my experience. Hope this glitch can be resolved. Meanwhile I plan to refrain from updating my MacBook until my iPhone can hold onto my AOL notes.
