Hi, I too faced the similar problem recently with my iPhone 11 and my phone isn't in warranty. Still, I went to an authorised service provider. But the lady there told me that I need to replace the camera (certainly not the good choice as it would have made a big hole to my pocket).

So..... I FIXED IT MYSELF!!!! The dark spot appeared to be a dust particle or debris.

So, countless people have faced this issue with their phones (from 6s to 11). I read somewhere that flapping the camera side of the phone on the table will move the dust particle away (obviously not that hard to break your phone. you can put some cloth or paper to absorb the shock). So I tried that several times. there was no change in the position of the dark spot. But I kept trying and flapped my phone on my thigh and after a few flaps, BOOM!! the spot disappeared. I really felt like some magic happened coz I was losing hope.

Remember, patience is the key here. Before succeeding, I tried the trick for almost 2-3 weeks. not regularly but definitely twice a week. I would get tired and irritated by doing so but somehow I didn't stop. and finally, the spot disappeared. so if you are trying this trick, be patient and gentle enough to not break your phone. It might disappear in a few days in your case. So trust the process.
