Using FCP 7, my viewer screen turns white

Using FCP 7, my viewer screen turns white. When I start playing the video, the picture comes up. But once I stop, the viewer screen returns to all white.

I don't have FCP7 running on any machines anymore but if I remember correctly ... you have set your viewer window to show ALPHA. Reset it to standard view. It's in the menu below the window.
