Just picked up iphone 12 pro. Thought I bought phone, case, and charger. AND two years apple care. In bag, only phone and case and NO RECEIPT. None of the online suggestions help me find my recent purchases or receipt.
Open the email that says your oder has shipped, and click on the ORDER NUMBER:
When the web page opens , log on with your Apple ID.
The resulting page has a link to VIEW INVOICE:

Have you logged into your account that you used for the purchase and checked? You should have also received an email receipt, check your junk mail if it isn't in your email.

Nope. Just contacted Apple via chat. They looked it up and sent it. The guy at the store forgot. Or else he sent it to the wrong address?

Check your Trash and Archive folders, seeing if it resides in there.
