Can i Transfer AppleCare to new watch?

Can i Transfer AppleCare to new watch? I bought 2 year prepaid AppleCare for my Apple Watch v5. Now I’m looking at a v6. I’ve prepaid for 11 unused months. Can I get a credit back on trade in or transferred to the new watch?

You can cancel it for a pro-rated refund and then buy it for the new Watch. See: Cancel or change the payment method for your AppleCare plan - Apple Support
