Anyone else having issues pairing with certain devices. I was able to pair with some and not others....it shows up in my directory but says pairing unsuccseful
thoughts?

I believe this thread started as an Issue connecting iPhone 12 via Bluetooth to models of Homewerks bathroom light/fan/speaker then others jumped in on various other Bluetooth issues like JBL speakers, cars, etc. I encourage everyone who has a Homewerks bathroom light/fan/speaker to call Apple Support at 1-800-APLCARE and request a ticket be open for tracking the obvious problem that all model Apple phones connect to this particular bathroom fan except many versions of the iPhone 12. Then call back every two weeks for update on status of the open tickets amongst many... including Homeworks themselves that sent these bathroom fans to Apple for troubleshooting.

I’ve recently purchased a iPhone 12 Pro Max I’m having issues connecting devices my parot in car phone plus my GoPro they all worked on my previous 8+ with know issues.Thankyou.

I called them and the blame was placed on Apple. They said if I were to purchase a new Homewerks that it would not be the problem. Yeah right.
When you emailed Homewerks did you have to show a receipt?

See pictures attached of the email I sent to Homewerks and their immediate reply to me to let me know this is a known issue, and that they will sent replacement speakers to me which they did.
I called them twice and emailed them several times they never got back so I will remove the homework’s product and never buy from them again. Sucks but have to eat it.

Yup, it was in Pairing mode. Tried to Reset per the instructions (hold M button for 3 seconds to a double-blink). Didn't respond. You may be right that it needs to be reset but it won't.
It’s frustrating. I’ve tried that three times and each time they tell me to take it up with Apple.
After all the issues with blue tooth connection I’m going over to Android enough is enough

I’m moving on, no more apple products in my home. Seems the anti apple movement is catching on. Bad apple management and policies. Seems a big price for Bluetooth problems.
I’m not sure how to reset the speaker to factory settings... but it appears on other devices I have, so I don’t think it’s the speaker. It is in pairing mode.
