Apple ID Setup - How Long Does it Take?

I am switching from Galaxy S10+ to iPhone 12PRo. Everything appeared to be going well, then it seems stuck on the "It may take a few minutes to set up your Apple ID"....that was 4 hours ago and it is still going. I already had an Apple ID and used it to log in on the phone. I also transferred using the app my Galaxy info to the new iPhone. Should it take this long? I had wiped all pictures and video off of my Galaxy to help alleviate some of the drag on transferring. Just didn't think it would take this long to get this phone setup.
