How do I back the ipad before sending it for service up if it wont charge?

Does it turn on when connected to external power? If so, execute an iCloud backup over WiFi with it plugged in.

However, if it does not power on at all, then there simply is no possible way to back it up now. There is no way to do anything with it if it won’t power on and boot iPadOS.
