About the 'Delete' button in Preview app

Every day I print two copies of the crossword puzzle in our local paper. I do a screen capture (Shift + Command + 5), which opens as an untitled image in Preview. Once I've printed, I press Ctrl + W to close the image. Then I get "Do you want to keep this new document ... ?"

By default, the Save button is selected, but I want to delete it. My intuition tells me I should be able to use the Tab key or an arrow key to move the selection from Save to Delete. Alas, it seems my only choice is to reach for my mouse.

It's a minor thing, but I'm a keyboard shortcut junkie, y'see. Any tips from anyone here?

Oh, wonderful! I checked "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls." That did the trick. I tried it out on a new screen shot, and I found that (in Preview) CMD + Delete simply deleted the image.

Thank you!

Keyboard System Preferences, Shortcuts tab. Enable accessing all controls from the keyboard (can’t remember the exact phrase).

You can tab from control to control. An outlined control is activated with the space bar.

In general, cmd-<first letter of button> will activate the button (cmd-d in this case). It doesn’t work everywhere, and sometimes cmd-delete will activate the delete button.
