Watch pauses workouts even when locked

Hey all. My 6 Watch keeps pausing during my kickboxing workouts even when I have the lock feature on. I am wearing it as tight as I can with my wrist and I am making sure that nothing is touching the buttons. Its super frustrating that it has a workout for kickboxing and I can't even use it during that. I replaced my fitbit so I could have more functionality with the watch and now I keep having this problem. I turned off "Press to Pause" and I turned off "Running Auto Pause". Why does this keep happening?!

Looking over your post, we see that your Apple Watch pauses unexpectedly during your workouts. You've turned off the auto-pause features, and made sure the Apple Watch has a snug fit, but the issue persists.

To aid us in isolating this issue, we'd recommend the following:

Additionally we'd recommend looking over the following article, and make sure all steps are taken to get as accurate of a reading from the Apple Watch as possible: Get the most accurate measurements using your Apple Watch
If you swap the Apple Watch to the opposite wrist during workouts, does the issue persist?
