MacBook Air2020 terminal command is not working

Last week I bought new Macbook Air 2020. I decided to change starting / Boot Mac when I open(start without press buttons) I tried this command by opening the terminal ......sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00.... but it is not working.

I know this isn't what you're hoping to hear, but in general, plugging in many of the NVRAM parameters via Terminal doesn't work well these days due to changes in both newer versions of macOS, and hardware changes of newer Macs. I believe this was a security-driven change.


Specifically I don't think manually tweaking the AutoBoot parameter has worked in some years now.
