I received a virus in my email actually 2 🦠

hello I was searching the web today looking for buying a log cabin when I started to talk to a sales person on chat asked me to put my email to send me the brochures and prices and I realized after many personal questions it was not real so I simply sa sorry you’re not the right person and next thing. My phone displays you have 2 viruses it started to get really hot so I shut it down

now I see a little orange dot top right everytime I make a call

The popup messages are scams, always.

The orange dot is a new security feature in iOS 14. It simply indicates that the microphone is, or was being used. In this case it was used by the phone app.

The orange dot is a feature Apple introduced.

It is an indication that an app is using your microphone.

You should see it when using the phone.

If nothing should be using your microphone, you shouldn't see it.
