All I need some help here. My wife has asked me the question "is there a way she can delay sent emails for her business like she was a le to schedule in Outlook when she used windows?
I use the option to schedule a send. You'll find it under "Preferences" > "Schedule". If you double-click the "Send All" entry, you can "Add an Occurrence" under "When" then set a repeating schedule for every 10 minutes. What will happen is that you'll send a message and it will sit in the Outbox until the scheduler triggers a send. The only time I have a problem is when I send a message then the scheduler triggers a send within the next couple of seconds -- then the message goes out pretty quickly. However, the vast majority of the time, it works well.
Old thread, I know (over 18 months). However, I just wanted to see if anyone has found a solution between the last post and now to this much-needed feature in Apple Mail?
I am new to mac and purchased the office suite for mac assuming all the functionality I utilised frequently would transfer.
I am currently missing the options tag in outlook for messages so that I can ask for read receipts, delay sending etc. it looks like these don't exist.
Am I correct?

Hello. I have just bad news:
1. In Outook 2011 for MAC this is a feature that doesn't exist. If you’d like to see in future versions of Office for Mac, be sure to send your feedback by clicking “Help” > “Send Feedback…” in any Office application.
2. I can't found and "nice" script for delay send our emails using mail...
3. I don´t know how to use automator... may be someone can upload a youtube video how to do it.
Hope someone give us some good new.
David
Thanks for posting that, it looks like it will do what people want. Here's a link to the developer's site in case the macupdate no longer works. http://www.mrose.nl/mailscheduler
Here's the app store link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mail-scheduler-pro/id651969211
($30 - Feb 2014)
I have not used this app.
