Unable to send Pages document as a .pdf attachment

I created a pages document and saved it as a .pdf. When distributing, the recipients do not receive as an attachment. Is this because the document is only 1 page?

I have created and saved many Pages documents as .pdf. There has never been an issue with sending as an attachment.

This might be a pure perception issue as you look at the email on your end. For certain types of attachments your macOS Mail app client will show what a full version of what the attachment looks like. For other attachments it will show up as an icon.

Did the recipient not receive the information you were trying to send them, or did they receive it? Depending on the type of Windows or Mac email client the recipient has, it too will also show attachments as either an icon or as a full display of the document.
