Just purchased the iphone12 and I can’t with how pathetic the optimisation is. Battery Draining like a pro. Even my older iphone 7 performs better, also 11 was much better in terms of battery backup! Y’all facing it too? Drained 30% in 4 hrs with minimal use

Do a battery performance check in the system settings option, check if any of your app has permission enabled to use location and services in the background. WiFi & GPS drains battery faster than expected.
Use dark mode, and auto brightness.
Disable background refresh, and auto update.
Disable Hey Siri, and Location services.
If none of the above works out, Backup all your data, do a complete reset, don't install any app yet, check if battery performance improves. If it does, it means any of your app gone wild and you may need to customize permission settings for each app.
