In Safari v.14.0, when I try to login to my router settings website I see: "Your password will be sent unencrypted". Is it safe to enter the User Name and Password? Thank you.

These router access credentials are usually affixed to the modem/router. If you use a URL starting with "http://" instead of "https://" then the data are unencrypted. It's usually not too important to require them to be encrypted unless the router/modem is physically accessible to an unwanted person in a business organization.
There's no other way you are going to log into the Router.
Since it isn't leaving you internal network, encrypting it might be a touch of overkill.
You could answer this yourself by asking: "do I need to protect myself from myself?"
Sometimes the answer to that is "yes". But your point is well taken.
