Apple Watch and iPhone won't sync

Mail and messages do not sync between iPhone and iWatch. Sometimes mail deleted days ago reappear. this has reoccurred several times...fixed and then happens again!

We understand you're experiencing an issue with your Mail and Messages not syncing to your Apple Watch as expected from the iPhone, and we'd like to see if we can assist.

To get started, restart your iPhone and Apple Watch, and check for the issue again: How to restart your Apple Watch

Also, check to make sure other content is syncing between your devices as expected.

Thanks for those additional details, and we're glad to hear Mail seems to be syncing as expected for you.

In regard to the Messages app, it is expected for messages to stay on the Apple Watch until deleted from there. You can learn more here: Read messages on Apple Watch

Restarted iWatch and iPhone as suggested. Looks like Mail is working, but not Messages. In mail: Deleted mail on Mac and iPhone; watch responded correctly. In Messages: Deleted Messages on Mac and iPhone responded correctly. Watch still has old messages.

Message sent from iPhone received on Watch and Mac. Deleted on iPhone. Watch still has the message, plus messages deleted two days ago.

Mail message sent from iPhone not on watch. Two previous mail messages received from ISP have appeared on the watch.

This is the third time since I got the watch that syncing of mail & msgs has failed. Support fixed it and later (after updates?) problem reoccurrs.
