"Thanks for the information. The issue is that most packaged greeting card software and those found in the Apple Store have ratings of one or two stars with comments that they are not worth the trouble or the money. I was hoping someone has found a program that really works and has high ratings."

Use Microsoft and Avery:

The upfront workaround - though it might take a few tries getting used to - is to use Microsoft Word, and then use Avery Greeting card sheets.

What you Need:

You would get MS Office 2016 for Mac at Amazon, and the greeting card sheets at your local retailer.

That is how I always make these.

Mac App Store. Search for Greeting Card.

When you find an interesting application, scroll down past its ratings and reviews (You should be picking the highest star rating app), until you come to Compatibility. If it says Works on this Mac, that will be a good sign, especially if you are on High Sierra. Also, clicking that Works on this Mac text will reveal the versions it does work on.

Some vendors provide a free trial of their application from their website.
