There is no need to download anything. If you did that, uninstall it according to its instructions. It can only interfere with macOS's native AirPlay functions.
Follow Mirror or extend your Mac display and specifically, Step 3 of those instructions.
You might as well restart your router also, so that the AirPlay device (in your case, the "smart TV") can be discovered.
Thanks, tried that and also downloaded Mirror my Samsung. I'm not seeing these boxes described.
