iTunes card not proper activated

I’m purchased my ITunes card At the shop yesterday When I scan in with code is some error with the card

the show the gift card code you entered has not been properly activated pls contact ITunes Store customer support for assistance

Ask the people at the store the gift card came from or the iTunes Store staff for assistance.
