Watch nightstand alarm not working

Since updating iwatch to IOS7.0.3 and iPhone to ios14.1 my alarm app on watch isn’t working! I use it in nightstand mode. I’ve restarted both devises. The alarm app now has box (from sleep app?) for No Alarm tomorrow. I have not set up the sleep app. Did the update force it upon me? Any ideas how to get the alarm app to work and get rid of the sleep app? Thanks

Hello, Allusernames.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We see from your post that after updating your iPhone and Apple Watch, alarms no longer push to your Apple Watch.

Are you setting the alarm from the Alarms app on the Apple Watch, or from the Clock app on your iPhone?

Check the settings in the Watch app on your iPhone using the last two sections of this support article:

The Sleep app shouldn't affect the alarm notifications from being pushed to your Apple Watch. Check to make sure you don't have Do Not Disturb enabled on either device. Depending on your iPhone model, you may also need to adjust the Attention Aware settings.
