transfer applecare to new phone
I want to purchase a new phone. I'm wondering if i can transfer the AppleCare that is currently covering my iPhone 11 to a new iPhone 12?

No, but you can cancel AppleCare on your old phone (for a pro-rated refund if you paid upfront) and then buy a new plan for the new phone. To cancel, see: Cancel or change the payment method for your AppleCare plan - Apple Support
