I just did a manual back up from my iPhone to my Mac and I realized the space of the backup is inferior to the space being taken up on my iPhone which makes me wonder if everything got uploaded correctly, I have 110 GB being used on my iPhone and the size of the back up was only 70 GB.

Not everything needs to be or gets backed up. The iOS for example and probably all Apps installed from the App Store. These last two are downloaded and reinstalled again if a problem occurs and a full reset is required.
When you first got your iPhone there would have been at least 8GB of the available storage taken up with the iOS and the default Apps that are part of it.
Because of this there will always be a disparity between the storage available on the iPhone and the amount of data backed up to another device.

Compare the information given against what's still on the Phone that was not backed-up. It could account for the disparity.
I am aware that there would have been a few GB that don’t upload to the backup from the actual iPhones system and software but 50GB missing ? Isn’t that too much, once again my iPhone has 110GB and the file size on my Mac indicates only 60 GB.
Also apologies I meant 60 GB not 70 in the previous post.
