‘null’ app

This appeared on my phone last night

what should I do


’Null’ has accessed camera, video recording and files


ive checked settings and there’s no app showing

iPhone XS, iOS 14

We understand that an alert appeared last night saying that "Null" app was using the camera. When looking in the Settings area, did you check Settings > General > iPhone Storage to see if any apps show the name "Null" or something else that doesn't look familiar? If not, do that now. You can delete the app by tapping it once, then choosing "Delete App". If nothing is found there, check the Privacy area to see what apps have requested access to the camera. Those steps can be found here: Control access to hardware features on iPhone


If no app appears there, and the alert continues, we recommend reaching out to Apple support to look into this a bit more. They can be reached here: Get Support
