We can see that you're experiencing an issue with your iPhone X not offering an option to update the software. We can understand your concerns. Which version of the iOS software is currently installed on your iPhone X?

If you have not tried already, please Restart the iPhone. Often this simple step will refresh the apps and software on the device to solve numerous problems you may encounter.

Was this iPhone given to you by your employer or an educational institution? If so, you may want to reach out to the IT Department to see if they can offer any insight as to why this option is not available.
