Where is the search window in Apple Music?

Opening my Apple Music program on my Macbook, I find that the latest OS updated has changed its appearance yet once again, and I'm obligated to learn anew how to use it. This time there is no search bar to enter my search query on the top menu/status bar, as it always is. I go to the Help menu and find the Help app pertains only to a previous Apple Music version--so it tell me to go to the search bar on the top. Where it no longer exists. How do you enter a search query in Apple Music 1.0.6.10?
