MagSafe Wallet

Apple displays their MagSafe silicon and plastic cases with the MagSafe Wallet attached- yet you cannot charge thru the MagSafe case and wallet, and also they mention the MagSafe charger can damage your credit cards magnetic strip? Why show the case and the wallet and say MagSafe works with everything, not true. The risk of taking off the MagSafe wallet to charge with the MagSafe charger is MagRisk! Disappointed Apple, why don’t you just make a normal leather folding case for the new iPhone 12’s?

Anyone else feel the same???!

Be careful, when they say protect..believe they are saying from credit card theft.... kinda misleading in my opinion if you read the fine print about the MagSafe (MagRisk) wallet it states do not put credit cards on or near the magnets,,...crazy when Apple is touting MagSafe. This is going to be a disaster for them product wise, so many people will loose and or damage their credit cards, not to mention the charging issue which doesn't happen if you have a case and wallet attached. I returned my MagSafe (MagRisk) Wallet, disappointed in product and that Apple is intentionally misleading in advertising and product info... like the iPhone 12 Pro.. hope this isn't the start of many more misleading, downward trends product and information wise from Apple... hope this isn't a signal of future negative trends.

So you think my sticky case is a bad idea also? I like the thinness of it and keep a couple of cards in it. I know that there is a protective sleeve on the outside for sure. But it definitely doesn’t have anything against magnets.

I just read that the MagSafe wallet protects your credit cards. But I use a sticky card case and am now worried that even though it has a protective sleeve in it, the sleeve I believe is only on the outside. Think I will stay with the cable anyway for now.

BTW: I bought the Apple clear case for my phone and there aren’t cutouts for the side buttons except the mute button. The buttons are impossible to push. Another flaw.
